Workshop on Open Particle Tracking Velocimetry under COST MP0806 “Particles in turbulence” action

First announcement and a tentative program

What is the goal?

To meet future developers of the OpenPTV, to kick-off the project and hopefully to deliver the first user-friendly version of OpenPTV in Matlab, C++ and Python. Documentation and code sprints are planned in parallel to the lectures on Git version control, data management and tracking algorithms.

Where?

Room 234, Wolfson Building of Mechanical Engineering, Tel Aviv University, use the interactive campus map of the Tel Aviv University

When?

April 29 - May 3, 2013

Want to participate?

If you are willing to add some code and invest some of your time to develop the open source framework with all the credits reserved to your contribution, and want to help to develop better open source particle tracking software, don’t hesitate to contact us. No previous programming experience is required, it is enough if you want to learn and contribute.
